Alright, I can assure the apps starts to working properly, mostly. Why? Because every initial startup on Spotify Mobile, I'm still getting "Spotify is offline" notification, even though I can browse and play songs using my internet.
Things that I did to fix this :
1. Logout Spotify account on everywhere (start from website client, desktop, then mobile)
2. Reinstall Spotify Mobile
3. Login Spotify Mobile, play a couple of songs
4. Login desktop Spotify (login on web client before this because its mandatory)
5. Make sure you're still logged in on Spotify Mobile before logging into desktop client
6. Done ✅👍
If you follows these steps you should be good. Hopefully I don't have to experience this kind of problem again. Fix your mobile apps please, stop with adding features just focus on building a great UX 😤
Hi there,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for sharing the info on what troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. It's very helpful!
So we can get a better idea of the situation, would you mind telling us a bit more about what the issue you're experiencing is? You mentioned that this started when you purchased Premium. Do you not see Premium functions on your phone?
If that's the case and you're logged in on your desktop, check out your subscription on the Overview Page > Order history and if you see that you've got a Premium subscription then check the email address/username of the account and use these credentials to log in on the phone. This will ensure that you're logged in to the correct account on both devices.
If it's a different issue, give us as many details as possible so we can decide how to proceed together.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon 🙂
THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I TRIED SENDING A REPLY FOR NO FKING REASON!
Imma make this simple, see the screenshot I gave. That's the first thing pops-up every single time I open Spotify app, an error message saying "Spotify running on offline mode". I've checked my setting to see that offline mode is already ticked off. Tried to turn it on a few secs and turn it off, but still no changes, spotify on offline mode message still popping up.
Also about the premium feature, of course I'm using the same email when I puchased the premium plan and it works very wonderful ONLY on desktop app (cause I can't use mobile app). Also for some day before installing Spotify desktop, I can use all premium feature on my Spotify Mobile apps.
The thing is, since I started using Spotify on desktop, I can't use my Spotify Mobile apps because the error I just mentioned on my previous reply. I'm asuming there must be a problem with the mobile apps. I can even control my Spotify desktop using my Spotify Mobile apps like bruhhh, what the **bleep** happened.....
Hey @VOMITze,
Thanks for getting back to us. Sorry to hear you've had trouble posting your reply.
We've received similar reports from other users and our tech team confirmed that this is most likely an issue with your internet service provider. Can you reach out to them and check if everything is ok on their end?
Let us know how it goes.
again, the 3rd times I re-type the whole reply because this is sucks.
In short, yea I can confirm changing my ISP does works, but only AND ONLY, if my laptop booted up. Feels weird everytime I need to open Spotify Mobile I need to boot up my laptop, like how in the world does that happen......
Hey there @VOMITze,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
Just to confirm, did you reach out to your internet provider to check so that everything looks alright from their end? Since this seems to happen with a specific internet connection, it might be related to your current connection.
Also, keep in mind that with the Connect feature, you can use one device to remotely control listening on another. This means that if you have both the desktop app and the mobile app open at the same time, and if they've been on the same network before, you can control the music from one device and listen to another. This might be why you're able to access the mobile app after opening the desktop one.
Keep us posted.
I haven't reached out to my ISP provider because it's irrelevant. I've tried using 4 different WI-FI connection, and 2 of em are from different provider (Firstmedia and Biznet). I can assure you there's nothing to do with my INTERNET CONNECTION because I CAN EASILY, HAVE EASE OF USE running my Spotify Desktop but not with my Spotify Mobile. Let's just do a friggin remote and you tried it yourself, I'm tired of typing**bleep** again and again and again without any action given as a solution.
Oh, thanks for the information about ConNecT feATurE that I DID aware of. That's why I can use my goofy ahh-Spotify Mobile while Spotify Desktop are running, of course!
The thing is my **bleep** doesn't know why my Spotify Mobile aren't running well when I don't open the desktop version
Just call the tech support and do a remote to my Android, idgaf. I just want to use Spotify Mobile on the go cause THAT'S MY **bleep**ING REASON TO PURCHASED THE PREMIUM
Hey @VOMITze,
Thanks for your reply.
Before we continue, we'd like to point out that although we understand your frustration, such language will not be tolerated and so we ask you to respect our Community guidelines in future posts.
Now, regarding your issue - we're unfortunately unable to do a remote session, so if you'd like to continue troubleshooting here in this thread, please try the following, so we can narrow down the possible cause:
Also, please let us know your phone's model, OS version and Spotify version so we can try to reproduce the issue on our end.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
I'm starting to hate this thread, cause I always need to type at least 2x just to post my reply. Goofy thread and goofy mobile apps, what a wonderful combination 👍
First of all, thanks again for the "barely useful" reply. I just fixed my problem BY MYSELF, I repeat BY MYSELF cause you guys taking ages to give a proper solution. I can confirm that logging out from desktop app will fix my problem, BUT I also need to log out on my desktop browser. That's why I give a late reply, have been testing some things and it seems working just fine till now, But I ain't accepting this as a solution just yet, at least for 1-2 days forward to really make sure it fixes my problem and making sure NO ONE NEVER IN NEED TO POST HERE CAUSE THE SUPPORT STAFF IS INCOMPETENCE (fr guys, be better). Will give an update on how this is going later.
