Spotify downloading all songs new after new startup of android

My Question or Issue

After a fresh restart of my mobile phone, Spotify starts re-downloading all songs new. 

My standard setup is thst the music gets saved on my external SD card. 

I have to first change the settings back to the SD card as it has fallen back to the device. 

And then I have to wait for the download of 550 songs. 

Can you help?

Please try the following steps:

1. Enable permission for storage option for Spotify. This can be accessed by going to Settings>Apps>Spotify>Permissions>Storage.
2. Do a clean reinstall as explained here.
