Spotify keeps shutting down in split screen on Android

I teach a cycle class and I use spotify and use the split screen option for the Samsung Galaxy S7, when Spotify runs on its own its fine but when I run Spotify with the split screen it shuts down pretty quick. I have signed onto my Spotify on someone else's phone and still have the same problem so I know it's the app. Any ideas would be very helpful !

It sounds like you have discovered a new bug - I doubt that anyone ese has tried this. Best thing to do is to either post the problem in the bugs section or report it to spotify direct.
