Spotify stop suddenly

When i listen to spotify, online or offline, after 3-4 songs, it will stop. I must open the app in order to continue the song. What's wrong? I always update the app. My phone is xiaomi mi4i

That doesn't sound quite right.
Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.
