Spotify won't let me use the search function

My Question or Issue

 Lately the app has been giving me trouble - when connected, the search function tells me I'm offline and simply doesn't work. Everything else is perfectly fine - I can listen to songs that I haven't downloaded, I can navigate my Home and look up playlists/artists/etc that way, but the search option just won't collaborate.

I've tried doing a clean reinstallation. Actually, I've tried doing that roughly 5 or 6 times, and every single time the app would work perfectly for a bit, only for the initial issue to represent itself just a few hours later - sometimes not even that.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
