Spotify won't load on android

Whenever I go to open Spotify on my phone, the screen simply sits black. Sometimes the bottom task bar, with home and the other options, is displayed but I cannot click on anything and the rest of the screen remains black. It will then just sit that way until I log out of the app. 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and resetting my phone. Any suggestions? For context my phone is less than a year old and no other music applications have any problem.

I've got the same problem. Seems to have started for me on Monday.
