Spotify won't open on android

I just got a Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime. It seemed that spotify was already installed. I went to go and log in to my premium account, but when I opened the app, it was a gray loading screen for a half a second and then it went to the Google play store, even though spotify is already installed. There doesn't seem to open the application without it glitching to the Google play store. Please help.

I would suggest reinstalling the application and see if that works.
