Spotify won't play more than 1 song

Hey everybody,
I hope you can help me!
My Spotify app only plays one song, it doesn't matter what playlists I choose. After one song it stops playing and I have to press forward to get the next song playing. I checked, but all autoplay functions are on, I uninstalled the app but nothing helped.
I'm going on holidays and want to listen to music on the plane. Pressing forward after every song is quite annoying and surely not letting me sleep on the plane....

What phone, android and spotify version are you using?

I'm using a Huawei P8 Lite, Android 6.0 and Spotify Premium

Make sure spotify is excluded from any power saving and from the android doze feature. You'll find more details in this post.

It's not a problem with the doze function or power saving as it works perfectly fine as soon as the screen turns off. This started today. All worked fine yesterday. It just stops playing after one song... I'll just hope it goes away then. If not there's no need in keeping the app...
