Spotify wont open on Pixel 6a

My Question or Issue

For the last two days, whenever I try to open Spotify on my phone, it immediately closes. I've tried force-stopping and resetting the app, re-installing (and leaving beta), and restarting my phone and nothing has worked. Sometimes I get a pop-up, saying that Spotify has stopped working.

had this same issue, today's update (to version 8.8.90.55) seems to have sorted it.
