Stream Spotify music Android Offline

Hi to you all!

I've got a question about Spotify streaming on Android. I'm not able to stream offline Spotify music through wifi to a wifi receiver. It's possible to stream Spotify music which is streamed instantly, but not the music which is downloaded.

When using an Ipod, I can stream online and offline music.

I've read it's only possible when rooting the Android device. Is there another posibility?
