Suggested Songs

I'm trying to listen to a specific album, and I don't mind that it's shuffled, or that ads play every now and then, but what I do find incredibly bothersome and unappealing about this app is that, recently, it keeps playing unending strings of "suggested" and "recommended" songs, music that I do NOT want to listen to. If this app keeps forcing me to listen to music I didnt set up, I'll have no choice but to not use this app anymore.

Is this something that the free version of the app does? I don't have this issue, but I also have premium.
