Switching device on Android

Switching devices used to be easy. Still is on the desktop, but on my android app I'm now lumbered with 'Start a group session' when I tap the device button. I might use this feature once a year, I switch devices on the fly all the time. How do I do that now?

Also the forum is moaning about invalid HTML when using YOUR template. It's almost like you want to make it as difficult and annoying as possible to ask questions...

We can confirm that you should still be able to switch devices easily in the mobile app in "Now playing view" by tapping on the icon underlined in red:

Same problem. Spotify answer solves NOTHING. You cannot switch devices on Android
