Solved! Go to Solution.
With the SD card inserted, try reinstalling spotify, following all the steps here. You will have to redownload your music but it should save to the SD card automatically. I guess that the storage option doesn't appear on older versions of android but reinstallation should work.
Hi. Which tablet, android version and spotify version are you using?
If it is the tablets storage that is full you can try deleting unwanted documents, apps or photos.
If the tablet is an iPad you can download a large app from the App Store . The app will not download but will free up some storage on the tablet. I would recommend an app of 1gb or larger such as Hearthstone as the tablet will delete unused storage to make room for the app (it won't delete or download any photos, docs or apps).
If you do one of these it will make enough room for new songs to be downloaded.
