Unwanted reverb on songs played on my Android device

Hi, I am currently getting unwanted reverb on my Android device. I just noticed it today when I updated the app to the latest version. There is no option to turn it off. It is on nearly every track in my daily mix, and was most notable on Gantz Graf by Autechre and Squarepusher songs. It sounds like a bad concert hall reverb and is especially noticeable as the tail of the reverb follows through from one song into another as I skipped through the playlist. I am an audio engineer by trade so it really takes away from my user experience of the product and if I cannot find a way to turn it off I will definitely cancel my subscription.

Hey BuggyBug,

Sorry to hear about your issues, I think the reverb may be caused by one of your phones settings, the best way to check is goto your Spotify settings and scrolling down to Equalizer and tap on it, you will likely get a warning box, that is ok, it will then take you to Sound Alive and here you can check your settings or even reset them to default if you wish!
