Up next/queue forgets the songs

After the latest update (on Android 7.0) I've had a problem with songs in the queue. Any time I play any audio in another app the Spotify app forgets the songs it's supposed to play next. I usually spend about five minutes picking songs and arranging them in a nice order and now all that time goes to waste 2 or 3 times on my commute. I'm getting pretty tired of it so can you please do something about it, syncing the list online would be awesome because I could just pick off from where I was when I switch to desktop.
