Version of spotify no longer supported after Galaxy s3 firmware update

Description
Download and updated Galaxy s3 firmware this morning and can no longer open spotify. Message displays "You need to update spotify, This version of Spotify is no longer supported. Please go to google play and install the new version.
I uninstalled Spotify and reinstalled from google play and still get the same error.
What are the steps you took to get to the error/issue?
Updated S3 firmware this morning.

Spotify to work as usual but it did not.

Update: Just tried a factory reset and still not working.
Further update: Just download new version 1.1.0.112 which has old version clean up and it now works.
