Volume way too high

Hi,

I'm having an issue running Spotify on my Sony Xperia Z5 compact (Android 6.0).

The volume of the app is extremely loud. I turned both the phone's volume and the Spotify equalizer all the way down and it's still pretty loud. I would like to be able to listen to the music on a lower volume, and I also hear a little bit of white noise when listening with the volume all the way down.

Does anyone else have the same problem? Any known solutions?
