What happened to shuffle mode?

My Question or Issue

  What happened to shuffle mode? I accept that on free Spotify you can't select individual songs and that's fine but ever since they changed how the apps look every time I press shuffle on a playlist the songs are in the exact same order every time, the result is I have to stay on one playlist or accept every time I change playlists I'll get the same songs in the same order every time. I don't expect much but can you make the shuffle button an actual shuffle button? I was gonna go premium now I find myself checking how much google play music is.
