When casting, Spotify either fails to connect or plays on the phone AND the cast device

Hi,

This is a recent issue.

When casting from my phone (Sony Xperia XZ2 on Android 9) Spotify either fails to connect or if it does connect, it plays in teh phone as well as the device I am casting to.

This is a recent development, it has worked flawlessly sicken I have had teh phone.

The issues is using Connect (on a Marantz receiver) and on a ChromeCast Music device.

It is ruining any benefit of teh casting capabilities, hope you can help.
