White screen with green circle constantly appearing while browsing

I,m running Spotify (latest download) on Android lollipop. (HTC one m8)

and I am constantl getting a white screen with a green circle appear on the screen while using the app.

It stays on the screen for about 1 second, then disappears. This repeats the entire time I'm using the app...
