Why can I not go back to my previous song in new updated version?

I am an android user and ever since I have updated the app I cannot go back to previous song that was being played, I cannot shuffle my playlists, a lot of my liked songs have been removed and whenever I click on an album or playlist the music suddenly stops following the playlist and goes on to a random song not on the playlist. I have uninstalled and installed the app twice now but no improvements

The behavior you're describing seems very odd. In any case, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. You've mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but this one is more thorough than the usual one.
