Why doesn't crossfade work with Alexa

I'm using Spotify on Amazon Alexa. Crossfade only works on my phone but not on my Alexa. I already did a reset and connected it again. But it still won't work

The behavior you mentioned is expected when playback comes from another device. On our support site, there's an article called Track Transitions that covers Automix and Crossfade options. There, the note mentions that those options are not available when using the Connect feature.
