Widget on Android Auto no longer appears

My Question or Issue

Since updating to Android 16 a few weeks ago, the widget no longer appears on Android Auto when playing music or podcasts, when I'm using another app.

Thanks for reaching out. 

We'd first recommend making sure both the Spotify app and Android Auto are fully updated to the latest versions available.

Also, make sure that Spotify has the relevant permissions to run in the background and display over other apps.
