Will Spotify eat up my data at all if I listen to songs offline?

Solved!

Will Spotify eat up my data at all if I listen to songs offline?

I am joining the gym and am considering Spotify.  I will need to be going almost every day and will be averaging about 2-3 hours per day using Spotify.

I read the following statement from Spotify and had questions:

"You can sync a maximum of 3,333 songs per device and stay offline for up to 30 days."

1) Will listening offline stop eating up my data usage on my cell phone?  There is no free wifi at the gym.

2)  Spotify says I can stay offline for up to 30 days. 30 days out of 365 days? What does this mean??? I need to listen offline far more than only 30 days.

3)  Spotify says I can sync a max of 3,333 songs on my cell.
How much memory will l need to do this? I just got a new SD card bc I needed a bigger memory card.

If you listen offline, you won't use any data.

Each month you need to resync the songs/turn on offline mode.

3) Spotify says I can sync a max of 3,333 songs on my cell. How much memory will l need to do this? I just got a new SD card bc I needed a bigger memory card.

It depends of the download quality.

There are various factors to consider; but as a general rule of thumb the below should provide a good idea of the data usage:

Normal Quality (96 kbps) - 0.75 MB per minute
High Quality (160 kbps) - 1.25 MB per minute
Extreme Quality (320 kbps) - 2.5 MB per minute
