cant open spotify from android tv using voice commands

My Question or Issue

I have purchased a xiaomi google tv device. I have paired it with my phone and everything works except for voice commands that includes spotify. everytime I try to use a voice command like "play music on spotify" I get the message: "complete the setup to obtain more..." I follow the instructions (basically press next three times) and then it goes back to home. if i use the remote control I can play music without problems inspotify is just with voice assistant...

Could you let us know if you have any issues with the Google Assistant on your phone when using commands with Spotify?

yes from the phone I can use voice commands such as play music on spotify
and it works without problem...
