My Question or Issue
since the new UI these spotify lists don't sync to my mobile device. On the desktop i removed the songs i don't want to see anymore, but on my cellphone they still appear as 'available' although when clinking on them, they can't be played, so in the background the program knows they are excluded, so it it just a view problem.

Hi @rikverstraete,
Thanks for the swift reply.
Since the idea has been closed it's best to open a new one.
Cheers.
Hi,
maybe you should exit from app on your mobile by closing it in recently used apps.
I had the same problem and I closed my app completely and opened it again and there was everything, from playlists to podcast that I added or removed on my PC.
Franco.
Hey @rikverstraete,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
We'd recommend you try Logging out Everywhere to force sync your account with the servers on all devices.
Let us know if that makes a difference.
This did not help, i logged out both in mobile and desktop. Logging back on in desktop the songs i marked as 'i dont like this song' are removed and appear in grey. In mobile app these songs appear as still in the list, but i can't select them.

Hey @rikverstraete,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
In case you see no difference after logging out everywhere we recommend performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on all devices in use. This will get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and remove corrupted cache that might be causing the issue.
Just to confirm, is this happening only when connected to a certain Internet connection? If possible, we'd suggest connecting to a different network (for example, if this is happening when you're connected to 3G/4G, try switching to a WiFi connection). If it works with another connection, it’d be a good idea troubleshooting further the original one (for example, by restarting your router). You can also reach out to the service provider of the original network so that they can take a look on their end as well.
Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
i first cleared the cache , then removed the app and reinstalled it. And still the problem stays. On 2 different desktops the sync is perfect , so in some way there is a problem to sync to the android app. It doesn't matter if i you 4G of wifi, those playlist s don't sync. Other own created playlist sync perfectly, i added a song to 1 list on desktop and that list syncs perfectly. So it has something to do with the ability to ignore songs on those spotify list and export that mark to android. This only started after the update to the new UI.
Hey there @rikverstraete,
Thanks for getting back in touch.
Currently, hidden songs aren't syncing across devices, this means if you hide a song you don't like on the desktop app, it'll still show in the mobile app.
In this case, you can have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can give these steps a go and submit your idea so that other users can also support it. The higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.
If you have any questions, just let us know.
Was this always the case, i surely didn't notice it in the past or is this new since the update to the new libary view? seems such an obvious thing to sync between devices, strange that i have to put this as new idea instead of doing this from the start. But i will post it as new idea !
Hey @rikverstraete,
Thanks for the reply.
This was always the case, ever since the Hide song option was introduced.
If you really dislike an artist, you can block them though. This is synchronized across all devices, and the app won't play any of their songs. This does not include songs featuring the artist.
Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
someone already started the idea to add this feature
but the idea is closed as not enough votes. Do i start a new one, or does this get picked up if enough votes !
The bad thing is most users don't know there is a community to vote for idea, so most of the ideas get ignored because of the less votes, not because probably many users want this !
Hi @rikverstraete,
Thanks for the swift reply.
Since the idea has been closed it's best to open a new one.
Cheers.
