interrupted stream

I'm using Spotify from my Android phone to stream music to my speakers via Chromecast.  I keep having problems, however, with the music being interrupted.  First I thought this had something to do with the Chromecast connection until I realized that the music actually was stopped and re-started 15 or sometimes 30 seconds later.  No issues with the internet connection.

I've seen a variety of messages going back to 2011 on similar topics so there's probably a solution hidden somewhere.  What I don't understand is why Spotify hasn't resolved this yet.  Congrats on having 50 million subscribers but now it's time to support your paying Community!
