last.fm error / keeps going back to ON

My Android keeps on popping out a message saying "Last.fm error, wrong user name and password". When I check the settings, the scobbling is tuned on, I turn it off, but an hour later it is on again. No matter how many times I turn it off, it keeps on going back to ON again. How do I turn it off for good? 🙂

I have the opposite: mine keeps turning off on Android and Linux.

I fixed this by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It's a bit of a pain, because you have to redo your settings and your downloaded tracks, so you decide when getting rid of that pesky notification is worth it to for you. 🙂

Unfortuantely, deleting the app data or reinstalling (and thus redownloading) is unacceptable for me.

Same problem here. No way I'm going to reinstall the whole app.
