notification keeps popping up repeatedly

My Question or Issue

 So at the current moment when I'm playing music, a notification keep rapidly popping up then disappearing before I can read it properly, but I know its playing as I can see the black buttons on the notification. This keeps happening and is slowing down my device, even going past my settings notification blocker (it stops all notifications). It also seems to happen more often when I'm downloading a song or playlist.

Hey @Yeagar13.

Could you send us the exact Spotify version numbers? Also, have you tried reinstalling Spotify yet?

If not, give it a shot to see if it helps. I'd also suggest power-cycling your Android device to see if it helps.

ok so i have reinstalled it many times to try and solve the problem, but here is the spotify version code:

We have a app version. Can you check for any updates for the app and see if it makes any difference?
