problem when changing phone

My Question or Issue

Hey, i've just switched phone and I found basically a old version of spotify. In my old phone with same free account, I was able to see all the songs in all playlists- including ones created by me- and artists' top songs. I was also able to add songs to the queue for a short period of time every day. However, since I switched phone all this features have disappeared and I am basically experiencing a even more strict version of the free plan. All my friends who have free plan have the features of my old phone so it is not a worldwide reduction of features, but located only in my new device. Anyone knows how to solve it?

Spotify is always testing and launching new features and changes to improve the users experience. This means that you may get a feature to try out temporarily, or may see something that your friends don’t and vice versa (even if all of you are using the same app version).

Hi Paula_vi, thanks for your response.

I understand that the difference could be due to different version of the app in the two different phones. However, when I checked I saw that they are on the same version and so that cannot be the answer. I was using them one next to the other at the same time in the same version but still there was the difference in features.
