spotify app not working on my htc one v

I just installed spotify on my new HTC One V. The downloading and installing went well, but when I open the app nothing happens. The screen goes black for one second and then it returns back to the screen from which I clicked on the spotify app.

I have no SD-card. Could that be the reason?

Not that this is going to help, but I got the exact same problem on my HTC One V.

Was planning on getting a SD card tomorrow, so if thats a solution ill let you know.

As soon as the SD card was in place Spotify started without problems.

Also, if you haven't already, download and try the preview release as this is much more stable on Android 4: http://www.spotify.com/download/previews/

I am experiencing exactly the same problem. doesn't want to run  on my new HTC One V. that's not good news for the spotify Dev's (as the problem not seem to be unique)... I installed Spotify from the Play Store. so how can I get spotify?

I want  to try yer solution licenced, but if I go to http://www.spotify.com/download/previews/ I can't find any download link to this phone. Help?
