spotify connect not working when using phone as wireless router.

So im using my phone as wireless router and play music through the spotify on my laptop wich is connected to the wi-fi.

the spotify connect (on laptop) does not recognice the phone because it is connected to the phones wi-fi and vice versa.

i have no other means of internet exept through my phone, is there some way to fix this?

phone: samsung galaxy note2

laptop: asus w/ windows 8

You have spotify connect on a PC? As far as I know this hasn't been released yet. What version is your desktop client?
