Sounds like the same issue as on this topic, but I thought it was meant to be fixed in the most recent release!:

Yeah, which makes me wonder is it not fixed! Although I haven't seen any other reports since the latest version came out.

Does the keyboard appear if you swipe down to open notification center and then close it again?

Yes than it comes the keyboard but with android 3,2 for notifications you must tap right down on the screen for appear.

The previous bug was for Android 2.3, I'll continue to investigate and see what the problem is for 3.2.
