using version 8.7.62.268 on a Sony Xperia X running Android 8.
the newly-added 'music' filter, upon tapping on it, shows an unknown account that doesn't belong to me. my music library still links to my own account. see attached screenshots.
Hey there @unseenlarks,
Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.
First up, we suggest that you log out everywhere and then restart your phone.
If this doesn't do the trick, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.
Let us know how it goes.
thank you for the suggestions. logging out everywhere and a clean reinstall of the app haven't made a difference.
Hi @unseenlarks,
Thanks for your quick reply.
In this case, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account in your phone to see if the same happens using a different account? Also, could you log in to your account on a different phone to check the same?
On another note, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).
We'll be on the lookout.
hello again. i tried a friend's account on my mobile, but the 'music' filter/chip was not showing up there, so couldn't repro this. interestingly enough, when i logged back in it was missing from my account as well, but re-appeared when i restarted the app.
here is a video of my screen, the same behaviour as the above screenshots. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hcdx63huGVnxl92Dbru3Tj5NN4nfofXK/view?usp=sharing
update: i launched the app today, and the unknown profile and associated recommendations under 'music' have disappeared. i didn't do anything different. very strange. i'll report back should anything change (again).
Hey @unseenlarks,
Thanks for all the info you've sent so far.
We're glad to know that now it's working as expected. Give us a shout if it starts misbehaving again, we'll be here to help.
Have a nice day 🙂
