volume rocker on version 8.7.68.568 is suddenly tiny

volume rocker on version 8.7.68.568 is suddenly tiny

On Spotify version 8.7.68.568, the volume rocker is suddenly tiny and I cannot use my finger to control the rocker. The rocker used to span almost the whole width of the screen and I could use my finger.

Hey there @MCAB,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Could you send us a screenshot of the whole screen including the volume rocker so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

Also, we'd like to know if this only happens on your phone or on other phones as well.

We'll be on the lookout.

This happens with my Android phone and iPad. It appears that it's happening only when connected to a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi speaker. When listening through the phone or iPad it is using the volume of that device rather than the Spotify volume rocker. The image with two images is from the iPad and the other two images with the podcast title  "so sue me"  are from Android. I'm unable to use the Spotify volume rocker when connected on a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.  speaker

Hi there @MCAB,

Thanks for the post and the screenshots.

This has been a UI change since the latest update on Mobile. You should still be able to control the volume using the volume keys on your phone or tablet to control the volume. You should see the green volume level indicator change when pressing the keys.

Can you let us know if that works for you when connected to a speaker, or using the volume keys changes only the phone/ tablet volume and not the speaker volume.

Looking forward to your reply.
