Already listened to / heard song before symbol

Hi Spotify,

Can you make an option to put a symbol on the tracks that I’ve already listened to before? This would be a great option for me to know which songs I’ve already listened to and which ones are new to me. Especially because I browse to playlists to find new songs quite regularly.

I think this is a great suggestion as well, and there is currently a Closed Idea in the Idea Exchange for this potential feature. While the status of the idea is currently “Case Closed," it doesn't mean that Spotify has rejected the idea, and the idea’s votes are still being monitored.

If it’s something you’re interested in, I would recommend adding your +VOTE to the idea. The more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it; and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here. It will also be useful for you to Subscribe to the idea by clicking the three dots next to its title; that way, you can be sure to be informed of any relevant updates.
