Bring back New Episodes folder!!

As of today, my app updated and I no longer have the New Episodes folder. I have the Your Episodes folder but it's only for stuff I've downloaded/kept. Now with the new update you have to hit the bell button, then click podcasts, then click unplayed. You no longer get a mini preview of the episode and you can't swipe to mark it as played. Ugh, Spotify fix this!!!!

Not only has Spotify removed our New Episodes folder, the alternative they have given us is 'Tile' based UI as opposed to 'List' based, which makes it extremely annoying to scroll through. The new UI is terrible, and moving all our New Episodes behind several button clicks and two filters seems to be pretty shortsighted.

Yes!! Thank you for clarifying that it's tile-based vs list-based! List-based is soooo much better like you said!

The Unplayed filter also does not work over half the time, and the podcasts do not play the list. I've had to stop the same podcast from playing on repeat each time an episode finishes. Then open the app and scroll to find the next podcast on the list.

Strongly agree. This app used to be easy to use. Now it takes a lot of clicking and scrolling to find new episodes for my podcasts. I understand wanting to make upgrades, but this one is the opposite of an upgrade.
