The new UI is awful, I'm sure if you're reading this, it isn't the first time you're seeing it. Here's a handful of things that don't make any sense;

1. The six tiles at the top of the home page mean nothing. They show podcasts that have a new episode but if you don't listen to episode, it'll leave the tile on the home page with a blue dot on the side for what it seems like weeks, alerting you of a new episode that I don't care about. 

2. I use "My Library" more than anything and now it's ruined. Spotify put everything you ever listen to in one list with almost no filters. If i'm looking for a specific pod that I downloaded, I don't even know where to go anymore. You go to downloads and it's every show you downloaded, IT NEEDS MORE FILTERS. You can't just pile everything into one list. When I click the downloaded filter, it just shows me the the podcast titles, SHOW ME MY DOWNLOADS. So you click one of the podcast titles and it just shows you the entire catalog from that person. 

3. Not sure if this is because Spotify bit off more than they can chew, but you really need to work on notifications. I listen to hours of new episodes before Spotify realizes they're new and updates itself under the "Podcasts and Shows" filter in my library. New pods will be up that day and it'll say updated 3 days ago.

4. Still don't understand the point of "My Episodes" it used to be the same as downloads in my library and now you're forcing people to go into a playlist to find your downloads instead of just a filter. You're making it harder for people to find they're things.

You need to separate podcasts and music again, this is just terrible, constantly updating your OS without correcting any of the pain points before you move on.

I agree! I download things so I can easily listen to them while driving. I noticed that none of my downloaded podcast work correctly. I had to pull over to try to figure it out and ended up just listening to one of my downloaded music playlist instead. But it was very frustrating. I am not a fan of this new format at all and I don't understand it. Listening to Cheddar's Need to Know Podcast, they hate the changes as well and don't understand. I love Spotify but if it isn't broke. Don't fix it!!

They will probably just ignore it. It is so frustrating. Everything takes so much longer and the library is practically unusable.
