Crossfade issue

when using Spotify through Sonos and have crossfade on, starting about a month ago it will start the song for about 10-15 seconds then skip to next song. Anyone have this issue ? I’ve contacted Sonos , they said it’s a Spotify issue. I’ve contacted Spotify and they can’t help at all. I’ve rebooted, uninstalled , installed . Nothing works. Any suggestions?

Hopefully, a resolution will be found soon so that you can enjoy uninterrupted playback and a seamless crossfade experience on your Sonos system with Spotify. I understand the frustration you're facing with the crossfade feature on Sonos while using Spotify. It appears to be a known issue that has been affecting users, including songs skipping to the next track prematurely and volume inconsistencies. It's unfortunate that both Sonos and Spotify haven't been able to provide a solution or offer further assistance in resolving the problem.

My Question or Issue:

I pick an artist and play their “radio”. Spotify (with crossfade) will begin playing a song

and after a few seconds just goes to another song.

This has been ongoing for years. Anyone gonna fix this? It’s pretty annoying -

especially when I get excited about what’s getting ready to play and it disappears

into the next tune. I’ve reinstalled it many times. No problems on any other music platform.

 

We have the exact same issue

when going through Sonos.  So while I "like" your answer I guess I like it only to know we aren't alone!  🙂
