It took years for me to do it, but the fact that I cannot even browse music without it trying to play everything just got to be too much. I was in a meeting and asked to do some quick music research. I figured Spotify, as I had normally been able to use. 

The app is bound and determined to force me down these stupid auto-play marathons of tracks THEY want me to see, rather than what I was looking for. I could not even browse music anymore. I had to mute my device in order to look at music. How pathetic is that?

So, I coin the phrase: Mute you, Spotify.

For a company that waged war against Apple for being a tyrant in their industry to become the EXACT SAME THING in the music industry is pathetic.

I just cancelled a personal premium and a family premium plan. I know, nothing to the bean counters, but aside from speaking out on forums that Spotify has just to offer lip-service to customers, this was the one way we can say ENOUGH.
