Friends Activity screen not resizing anymore

With the newest Spotify update it does not allow you to resize the Friends Activity portion of the screen. I've done a clean reinstall of the app and tried it on different computers with the same issue. The only options are to hide the Friends Activity completely or have it take up a third of the screen. Why is this happening? Why did we take away that feature? I want to see what my friends are listening to but i don't want it to take up more of my screen than what I'M listening to??
