Group devices not working

We have a few speakers set up through the house.  I have been grouping by using the 3 dots and it worked perfectly ever since we installed the speakers a few years ago, but doesn't allow me to select more than one speaker anymore.  It is showing all the speakers, but I cannot group any.  When I click on the 3 dots now, it takes me back to a main screen.  Has something changed in this last week (not been using Spotify for a week, but was in use everyday before that).
