Hate the new mobile app setup

Hi all

I updated my mobile Spotify app and I HATE the new layout. The large squares that automatically play as you scroll. I can't get to any content I need! I use Spotify both personally and professionally and this layout is messing with those needs. How do I change it back to the old format? Are there other people who massively dislike this update? Spotify - please please go back to the old one that has small thumbnails of recent, favorite, and recommended music!

Hate, hate, hate!!! I don’t even want to listen to music anymore, it’s so awful. It’s like a poorly designed version of TikTok. Gimme back my daily playlist thumbnails!

i want the option to turn those awful tiktoks off. i have literally refrained from opening the app the last week over this bull. i am actually considering cancelling my subscription if there isnt an option to turn it off Very soon. the fact that spotify is using personal interests data to recommend me these things on this in your face level is outrageous. i am looking for ways to downgrade and will be posting one or two more complaints.

Boy, this new user interface is REALLY a BAD IDEA!!

I don't want to see VIDEO on my Music Service.  EVER!  Spotify is supposed to be a MUSIC SERVICE, not VH-1 or Tik-Tok.

I agree 200%.  (The extra 100% is to wake up SPOTIFY Design Teams and alert them to Danger!!

I really miss the smaller squares that immediately helped you locate music you were listening to and playlists you were exploring.  This valuable history is now GONE.  Makes exploring less personal and more like I'm having tracks shoved down my throat.  Please GO BACK.  Go Directly to GO BACK...Do not Pass GO (Go Back)...or I am Going to JAIL this whole service.  Please, Please, Please do not let this continue!!

And NO...just putting an audio kill switch on the large video clips is not the answer.  They are still hideous and unnecessary.

The honest truth is that Spotify does not actually care what it's users think about any of these changes if they did they would not constantly and consistently respond to UI criticism with vague unhelpful responses as seen from Spotify and anyone affiliated with them! Run while you still can get off this dogwater dog**** for profit garbage platform!
