How can I listen to Spotify without track count?

I often listen to ambient music while I sleep at night, something I wouldn't otherwise actively listen to. As a result, all the ambient tracks slip into my "most listened songs" playlist at the end of the year, which I don't want.

Is there a way to hear tracks without counting them?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Benilda,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

The best way to stop ambient tracks from showing up in your “Your Top Songs” playlist, generated as part of Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year, is by turning on Private Session when you play them.

Spotify doesn't keep track of what you listen to during a Private Session, so any music that you listen to while this feature is switched on won’t influence your recommendations, either (e.g. Discover Weekly, Release Radar).
