My 9 yo kid got her first smartphone and I upgraded my Premium Abo to s Family one. When I tried to sign up my kid, I could not because she is not 14. Does Spotify Family apply only to families with kids older than 14 yo? In my country the app Spotify Kids is not available. Thank you!

I've been waiting for Spotify Kids to become available for years now. They don't even have a timetable for the roll-out. Meanwhile, they use it to lure you into a family subscription, but the feature simply isn't available. Can't even download the app here in Europe. No information whatsoever is available.

I came here to look for some answers about this too, I just changed to Family plan because of the kid's app.. He is 10 and has his own musical taste, he keeps using mine and my husband's so of course it is affecting our listening profiles.. 
Google play does not have it for our region.. Very disappointing.. We are in Malta btw.
