Liked songs playing switching to random

Liked songs playing switching to random

I have 1000+ songs in my liked songs .. I wanted to go through the entire list sequentially sorted by title .. I listen while working around the house, on the golf course, in my car, etc.   .. EVERY time i switch locations, the song I left off remains, but the following songs in the queue are all randomized and I've lost my goal of going through my songs alphabetically unless I go back and restart the last song to reset queue to my alphabetical liked song order

Greetings tjsagmoe, so by default when you play songs from your "Liked Songs" library on Spotify, the app will shuffle the songs to provide a randomized listening experience. This can be useful for discovering new music or for listening to your favorite songs in a new order, but it can also be frustrating if you want to listen to your songs in a specific order.

To listen to your "Liked Songs" library in alphabetical order, you can create a playlist and add all of your liked songs to it. Then, you can sort the playlist by title to listen to the songs in alphabetical order.

To create a playlist and add your liked songs to it:

  1. Open the Spotify app and go to your "Liked Songs" library.
  2. Select all of the songs you want to add to the playlist by clicking the first song, holding down the Shift key, and then clicking the last song. Alternatively, you can hold down the Ctrl key (or Command key on Mac) and click on each song to select them individually.
  3. Right-click on one of the selected songs and choose "Add to Playlist" from the context menu.
  4. Enter a name for the playlist and click "Create."

To sort the playlist by title:

  1. Open the playlist you created and click on the column header that says "Title." This will sort the songs in alphabetical order by title.
  2. Click on the first song in the playlist to start listening in alphabetical order.

By creating a playlist and sorting it by title, you can listen to your "Liked Songs" library in alphabetical order without having to worry about the app shuffling the songs. Additionally, you can easily pick up where you left off in the playlist even if you switch devices or locations.

Crush it on the course,

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

By default, it should ONLY shuffle when you have shuffle selected/enabled.  If I don't have it enabled, it should go in whatever order I currently have it sorted (whether date added, album, etc).
