Podcast Playlist Started Looping

In order for me to play a selection of podcasts for my child at night, I created a shared playlist with my wife that we add and remove so that it only plays 1-3 episodes and stops when there is nothing left to play.

This has worked for months until Nov. when suddenly Spotify has started to loop the playlist once the queue finishes.  I can confirm that when I look at the queue that it only shows the episodes I want but as soon as the last one finishes it starts the playlist all over again.

I'm using Android phones (Pixel 4a and Pixel 6) but I've also tried this on the Windows 10 app.

I have disabled auto playing songs on my phone and devices (I use Google Minis)

I also don't see any kind of repeat option when playing podcasts.
