Samsung Soundbar issue

Hi I have just bought a Samsung HW-Q800B soundbar with Alexa built in.  It plays everything superbly apart from Spotify, when asked by Alexa.  It plays Spotify via the Spotify app when I choose which speaker to use but as soon as I ask Alexa, I get the message "Spotify is not supported on this device". I have read many other posts from other users with a similar issue but some of these stem back to 2021.  So this problem obviously hasn't been addressed.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Phil.
