Sorting on Apple Watch stuck on Recent

I use the Spotify Apple Watch app quite a lot. One thing that really bugs me is the sort orders on the phone are not carried over to the watch.  For example, I sort my podcasts by “Recently Updated” but they seem to remain sorted on the watch as “Recent”. Same for Albums - “Creator” on the phone, “Recent” on the watch.

Is it just me or are other AW users seeing this?
