Hello! Faced such a problem that Spotify Connect does not work. I tried to reinstall the application both on the computer and on the smartphone. I did everything as written in the instructions, alas, it does not work. (

Can you provide some more information on your issues such as:
1) What devices are you using (including operating system)
2) Are the devices and apps up to date
3) Are they both connected to the same wifi network and are they on the same account ?
Also have had the same issue for the past two days.
I am also having this issue, my spotify connect works on all other devices except my desktop application, if I open the web player on the same device under the same wifi connection it works afterwards.
I use a laptop with Windows 10 and a Xiaomi smartphone, the Spotify application is updated and even rearranged, they are connected to the same network and through the same account.
to be more specific, the laptop is connected to the router with a LAN cable, and the phone is connected via Wi-Fi.
